The morning was a bit wet when the whole sky fell at somewhere around 11. Finalised a report my boss harping on since yesterday, once finished cabut lari pi bikepro jumpa Saiful…huhu. Was planning to buy a new lycra for myself since yesterday evening saw the one and only lycra i’m wearing gonna blow a hole…again! Hahaha! Dug out the lycra boxes (this is normal at bikepro) and got myself Sportful Italy…gorgeous item. Saiful again was jealous. The last time when i bought bontrager saddle at Joo Ngan last week.
New stocks came in from Shimano shoes. Mtb race and casuals. The race type was recently bought by Basirun when he worn it at elmina. Finally found the size for the casual type, and it’s brown colour…pergh! Mental kacau. Talked about it over lunch at secret recipe. Still in dilemma…argh! Ok, i’ll just sleep over it and focus on tomorrow’s ride. Can’t wait.
Like other Mondays, this morning was a bit different. Despite tonnes of laziness, it comes with a slight diziness. Best diagnosis, petang smlm wa bantai tido lepas waktu asar…itu pasal ada pening, upper front portion of the head.
Prepare some memos for work pun took me 5 minutes to complete a sentence…giler. Lunch hour pi teman Aznir survey true fitness in sri hartamas. A quick tour of the place, some lenghty fee discussion with marketeer. Verdict :
- The place too noisy with musics, the pumping type. Not condusive.
- Parking problem sikit especially gym peak hours.
- Staff act like trying to be friendly but too friendly & so not profesional.
- A quick check to the toilet, a bit smelly though it looks comfy enuf.
- Chickens not too hot, in fact not hot at all…kantoi…hahaha!
Sign up or not may not be a crucial decision for now. Weekend rides are just enough until it requires some preps for events i.e. races, epic rides etc.
Btw, big boss brought his cycling shoes with cleats. So, need to pay up ASAP.
Elmina again. We are running out of mtb trails in KL. Either elmina or Kiara. Batu Dam flooded recently, it’s a suicide for the bikes. Teratak, we’ll get strangled by the overgrown twigs. Sg. Pusu, one massive chunk of earth was removed from the trailhead.
Elmina was rode by 7 mtbers…Alwin, Nizam, Ibrahim, Basirun, Rosli, Akmal & me. Saiful can’t make it. Heard that Achong & UPSI gang also didn’t make. Same as Bukhari & Wong. 7 is enough to complete the loop in faster. Unfortunately, there were a few technical difficulties along the way. Rosli’s gears kantoi. Ibrahim’s chain putus. Both were settled in a niche with helping hands. Finished at 12.00+. Long and sleepy way back home with Nizam.
The carnival is back last 20-August. This year cuma register tapi tak race…huhu. Lost my guts from the last endo during weekend ride. Taken loads of pics but not too good la sbb camera comel sangat.
Supposed too be racing together with Alwin & Saiful. Noticed that the 31-35 years category is much stronger this year. Lucky didn’t participate. Alwin made it the final but Saiful didn’t. Lepak till 12.30 and left, the final was at 1.20pm. Alwin ranked himself at 8th place out of 15. Most of them bailed out.
Pergh! Lagi sekali. Pergh! Right after aku kosmetik kan motor aku dengan Givi box & EX2 helmet, dengan semangat ride to work…2 hari berturut2 lencun main hujan masa balik petang. Pergh!
23 Aug was the worst compared to yesterday’s shower. Left the office at 5.35, struggling to finish Jln Ipoh stretch with a good heavy one. Once masuk Jln Tun Razak, the tail of the jam starts before the underpass depan Ampang Park. At first, i thought it was normal like any other rainy day. Upon finishing another underpass approaching RHB, loads of motorbikes parked by the roadside. First catastrophe, a lady pinned inside her suv from a fallen tree. Crushed half the vehicle. Bomba was seen trying to cut the car. She’s alive. Carried on to Loke Yew. From above, Jln Chan Show Lin was submerged half a meter.
Aprroaching Miharja, looking a river down below melimpah2. Pergh! Approaching Leisure Mall plak, Jln Cheras itself flooded. Lucky motor boleh lalu part yg camber tinggi sikit. Safely reached home 45 minutes later, soaked…raincoat la of course.
The best part of today was lampu jalan depan rumah dah menyala semula after 3 weeks in the dark. Maybe surat aku ke YDP MPKj dah diterima kot. Hehe.
Used to create 1 or 2 blogs before this but laziness failed every attempts. La ni wa tengok member punya blog, semangat semula nak create a new one. Hope this one last longer.
So, sini i will just write anything, paste anything that crosses my mind. Anything that shall falls in my interest. Pelan2 wa update sikit2. Tengah belajor lagi nih. See ya.
